From dazzling, large-scale musicals to intimate, actor-driven productions, Bryan’s work is rooted in storytelling that moves and inspires. His signature style breathes new life into iconic musical theatre, offering audiences fresh perspectives on the classics they know and love.
As a proud first-generation Latino American and member of the LGBTQ+ community, Bryan weaves his unique identity into his craft, creating culturally rich narratives that spark meaningful conversations long after the curtain falls.

ABOUT
Bryan Knowlton is a New York and London-based director and choreographer whose career spans the globe and the entertainment spectrum. From starring on Broadway in the most recent revival of A Chorus Line to appearing in multiple national tours, film, and television, Bryan has cemented his place as a multifaceted artist and visionary.
As an award-winning choreographer, Bryan’s work has garnered critical acclaim and numerous accolades. His credits include Cabaret and Chicago (NH Theatre Award for Best Choreographer, ONSTAGE Theatre Award nomination for Best Choreography), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Kennedy Center American College Theatre Award for Outstanding Choreography), Beehive! and West Side Story (Berkshire Theatre Award nomination for Best Choreographer), Saturday Night Fever and Mamma Mia! (SALT Award nomination for Best Choreographer), and Curtains (BroadwayWorld Award nomination for Best Choreography), among many others.
Currently, Bryan is attached as the Director/Choreographer of In My Own Little Corner, starring Chryssie Whitehead in New York City, and serves as the choreographer for the new musical The Only Way Out by Dea Thatcher Maglione in London, UK.
A dedicated educator, Bryan is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and STEPS on Broadway in New York City, as well as The Hub and House of Jazz in London. His teaching blends technical rigor with a passion for storytelling, inspiring dancers and performers to bring authenticity and artistry to their craft.
Bryan’s ability to bridge the worlds of performance and education, coupled with his commitment to excellence, continues to leave an indelible mark on the global stage.
